AUDI in Formula 1 2026 VAG-UPGRADE.RU The German factory team will debut in the 2026 season in partnership with the Sauber team. Audi has officially confirmed that it will compete in Formula 1 starting in 2026. This will be the German company's debut in Formula 1, excluding Auto Union's pre-war participation in the Grand Prix class, the predecessor to modern Formula 1. The presentation of the final modification will take place in January, when the brand's young team begins preparing for test runs before its baptism of fire in Audi's signature colors. Most surfaces are painted a relatively neutral silver metallic, while the remaining areas are covered in deep black paint combined with eye-catching geometric shapes in a contrasting bright orange hue. Compared to most subdued color schemes, this livery looks quite striking and original. However, it's worth remembering that the final design will inevitably lose a certain amount of simplicity and elegance, as any racing car inevitably features numbers, sponsor logos, and other decals.
