Megamind is a Mega-Winner at the Box Office
Supervillian "Megamind" stole the show for a second weekend at the box office. The big-headed blue character voiced by Will Ferrell earned $30 million dollars, after earning $47.6 million during it's debut weekend. "Megamind" features the story of metropolitan villain who hales from outer space, and is raised by convicts on planet earth. His arch-rival, Metro Man, is voiced by Brad Pitt. The hero also landed on earth as an infant, but was more fortunate in his trajectory - plopping into a wealthy home. Tina Fey voices Roxanne Ritchi, the beautiful reporter kidnapped by Megamind. The Dreamworks movie beat "Unstoppable" starring Denzel Washington, which brought $23.5 million to theaters. "Due Date" with Zach Galifianakis and Robert Downey Jr. fell into 3rd place, pulling $15.5 million. And finally the fourth biggest earner, "Skyline" and number five "Morning Glory".
