CELESTIAL PEARL DANIO | Celestial Pearl Danio schooling or shoaling
Celestial pearl danios are a beautiful little fish, but do they school or shoal? I think it depends on the tank environment that you are keeping them in. Regardless, celestial pearl danios are going to stay towards the bottom of the tank in amongst the plants and the celestial pearl danios will not really venture up past the bottom five to six inches in a tank. I have found that they school when given no other option, meaning hiding in plants or the cover of hardscape. When I am growing them out I have no problems with them schooling in their grow out containers because to provide decorations means the establishment of territories and that is not good when trying to grow out fish.
