Healing on day 30 after a 21 day 5% Fluorouracil treatment for Basal Cell Carcinoma 2/22/2023.
Day 30 of healing! Starting to feel like myself again and very happy with my 5%FU results! Can you believe how fast it has gone? You can most definitely see why the 5% Fluorouracil treatment is like a "heat seeking missel". I am very happy with my healing progress and also waiting for a few spot treatments to heal due to a couple of very stubborn, suspicious spots. If you are considering doing 5FU, you must treat your entire face or as recommended by your Dr. and the manufacturer. I am only doing spot treatments on the few spots that came up after day 21. Keep watching for my March 8th Dr. visit update. Would I do the Fluorouracil treatment again! Absolutely! I don't look my best at the moment, but the peace of mind I will have was worth every itch, scab and ugly day I had in order to get to this point!
