Khabarovsk Bypass Motor Highway

Khabarovsk Bypass is the first expressway in the Russian Far East. The new highway helps resolve a number of issues in the regional capital, creates additional workplaces and a more comfortable environment for city residents, and promotes the socio-economic development of the Khabarovsk Krai. The traffic was launched on July 15, 2022. The route makes it possible to unburden the regional center’s road network from transit vehicles and to bring freight flows outside the city. Khabarovsk Bypass connects three federal highways: Ussuri, Amur and Vostok. In the future, it will provide access to the Chinese highway network. The length of the main roadway is 27.1 km, and the total length of the created transport infrastructure is 52.8 km. The 15 meter-wide, 4-lane highway with the maximum permitted speed of 110 km/h will allow up to 25,000 vehicles to pass per day.
