I'm going to talk about it in terms of G Flat. So we start with G Flat, our second fret on the E string, the next note id A Flat fourth fret, now we move up to the A string, first fret is B Flat. Now we play B, second fret, D Flat, that's fourth fret, E Flat is the first fret on the D string, F is the third fret, and the D string and then we get back to G Flat, fourth fret and the D string. Here's the scale, and that's the G Flat also known as F Sharp Major Scale on the bass guitar.
