Pressure Washing Tank Setup (Installing drop tubes in tank)
Pressure Washing Tank Setup Hey, guys! Doug Rucker here with pressurecleaningschool.com and dougruckerstore.com. Again, working on the rig. We’re putting in our drop tubes in the tanks for our soft wash equipment. We have one here that is going to fill the tank with bleach. We have one that is going to draw the bleach from here to our soft wash reel and equipment. We’ve got another one here that is going to draw the mix out of here for down streaming for our pressure washers. Over here we’re putting one in for water. This is going to be the water tank. We basically have a piece of PVC pipe here. It’s half inch PVC. We’ve got a fitting that has the threads on the top and a slip. We PVC glued it there. It’s already measured and we cut it at an angle on the bottom. We’re simply going to go in from the bottom like this. Actually, we’re going to screw this on after we put a little bit of “gook”. Screw that on like that. Get it nice and snug, but don’t over tighten it. You don’t want to crack it. We’re going to come up through here, put the gasket in, and see which way the arrow is pointing and tighten it down and then from there put our half inch 90 for our hose to connect to. What this will do is it will draw water out so we can rinse the down stream injector. We’ll have these hooked together with a three way. We can draw the mix out of there for down streaming or we can turn the ball valve and rinse at the same time. But, the big thing is I wanted to show you how to put a drop tube into a tank so you can draw from the top of the tank. That’s how we do it. If you have any questions let us know.
