Почему мы видим снегирей зимой ? И куда они улетают весной ?

Snowfinches appear in winter because they move closer to human settlements when food is scarce, not because they migrate. They are mostly sedentary birds, living in forests year-round where food is abundant. In summer, they stay hidden in forests, feeding on seeds and young shoots, and become less visible. During winter, they feed on rowan and hawthorn berries, taking only the seeds. Snowfinches breed in spring, laying 4-7 eggs, with both parents caring for the chicks. They are easily tamed but best appreciated in nature.
