E38 door lock actuator replacement
2001 BMW 740 E38 - to remove a defective door lock actuator, you must remove the lock mechanism from inside the door and the exterior door handle w/bracket. They are connected by an internal cable (that you can't really see). Had i know this, it would have saved my an hour! Best of luck...
