The Brothers Karamazov, Book 5 summary and analysis
We go through Book 5 (out of 12) of the Brothers Karamazov. This book is called “Pro and Contra”, and includes the very famous part with the Grand Inquisitor and Jesus. Ivan is about to crash and now he opens up a bag of evil deeds and ideas from mankind, while Alyosha stands firm that mankind is good at its core. This is part of the Brothers Karamazov series where we go through the whole book. First a summary so you know what the book is about, and then an analysis.
