Shen Jarvan - Barrier Bros - Legends of Runeterra - Battles with Bust #374

FTP_BUST is here to guide you through improving at ranked Legends of Runeterra! In each video, we take an in depth look at each deck's possibilities and strategy then finish up with a gameplay guide. Every deck won't be a winner, but we'll try and brew up some deck building suggestions at the end of each video. The line up featured Samira Jinx, Shen Jarvan, and Annie Jhin. This is the lineup is designed to be good against both Karma Sett and Samira Fizz. If you're looking to play in the upcoming weekend's Ruthless Rumbles or just grind up the ladder, this is a great collection of decks. At its core, this deck is all about board control. I have a full set of Petricite Broadwings and Screeching Dragons, plus the Fleet Feather Tracker as challenger units. This collection of challengers lets us attack up the curve and take down my opponent's most important units while protecting ours with Barrier. Once we have board control, we can win the game in two ways. The first is the more common combat-based route. I have enough Barriers to make sure I'm always attacking up the curve, and eventually I'll grind my opponent down. The second way is a bit more spectacular. If I can get the Sacred Protector onto the board and have a wider board than my opponent, I can pick and choose where I get double strikes through. This deck is also great against decks that rely on damage-based removal. I can use Barriers to counter their Mystic Shots, High Notes, and Aftershocks. Plus, with Kinkou Student, I can use a Barrier to stop two combats or shut down a removal spell, then have the Barriered Student ready to stop the next combat. That's the deck I'm playing with today. Let's see how it goes!
