Coolant Saver Installation on ' Waist mounted pumps'
Fitting Kit • 144-3000 (400 mm height) • 144-3001 (250mm height) Kit Contains - L22 (M30) Hydraulic Swivel T - Adapters down to 1⁄2” BSP - 90° Female/Male Fitting - 90° Male/Male Fitting - Barrel Fitting (400/250) – pending height required from T position - Brackets. Kit can be assembled prior to installation to machine. - Installation to machine can be done under 10 minutes therefore reducing downtime. Tools required. 1. Adjustable spanner. 2. Pipe wrench. 3. Pipe seal tape. Installation – Off machine 1. Assemble T connection to adapters to reduce to 1⁄2” BSP and seal where necessary. 2. Seal and Connect 90° Female/Male Fitting. 3. Seal and connect Barrel Fitting. 4. Seal and connect 90° Male/Male Fitting. 5. Seal and connect Coolant saver. 6. Connect 12mm Outlet pipe. Installation – on machine (Refer to instruction manual for full detail) 1. Turn machine off/ensure not running. 2. T from “Around Spindle” Coolant pump. 3. Undo and remove coolant pipe (may require bucket for any excess coolant). 4. Install coolant saver assembly. 5. Fasten Bracket. 6. Run 12mm outlet pipe into Sump and secure. 7. Insert 6mm PU Hose for Vacuum cup to coolant saver connector. • This can be extended if hose is not long another with push fit connector and additional hose 8. Once all secured machine can switched on. 9. Check when coolant on there are no leaks. 10. Switch regulator on half way unit suction is achieved.
