Time Lapse: A Sharpened Heart
This portrait of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland was painted over three days, during my spare time. Probably around six or seven hours total. The technique is a little different from my other works. I don't usually start in black and white, but it gave me a nice chance to explore the lines and shapes. Her costume is an update on a design I did for a play version of Alice in Wonderland about eleven years ago. Painted in Corel Painter IX with a Wacom Intuos Tablet. Music is from www.Musopen.com: http://www.musopen.com/view.php?type=piece&id=224 Prints of this image are available in my store at DeviantArt.com: http://mercuralis.deviantart.com/prints For updates on more art, prints, or videos etc, subscribe to my blog at http://wickedfae.com
