An unnamed driver in Los Angeles lives on the border between two worlds: by day he works as a stunt driver on film sets and as a mechanic, while at night he helps criminals disappear after robberies for money, following his own cold rules and never asking unnecessary questions. His restrained, almost wordless life changes after he meets his neighbor Irene and her young son Benicio, beside whom an unexpected desire awakens in him to protect something fragile and real.
