Before he was Fatboy Slim, Norman Cook spent more than decade moving through Indie Pop, Hip-Hop, House music and run of forgotten aliases, chasing formula that would turn samples into huge Pop records. By late 90s, Fatboy Slim had found way to turn chopped-up records, huge drums and left-field samples into unavoidable Pop hits. But 'You've Come Long Way, Baby' was not overnight success. It was result of more than decade spent moving through Indie Pop, Hip-Hop, House music and string of aliases, with Norman Cook constantly chasing next idea.
