BEFORE You Unload 35mm Film from Zenit ET WATCH THIS | 35mm Chronicles Ep. 1 | Unintentional ASMR

This unintentional ASMR video shows you how to unload a 35mm film roll from the ZENIT ET. Straight to the point! No talking & No background music. I had an eureka moment when I found out how to unload a 35mm film roll from the Zenit ET. The first time I finished shooting with the Zenit ET I failed to unload correctly because I did not know how the mechanism exactly worked. When I opened the backdoor of the camera my film roll did not rewind into its canister. I had ruined my first Kodacolor 200 film! I hope I can help you to avoid the same mistake I made by watching this video. The Zenit ET has a shaft on the shutter release button which has to be pressed down when you want to rewind the film roll. Be sure to first rotate and press down the shutter release button counter clockwise to make this possible. Then turn the rewind knob gently in the direction of the arrow. You will hear and feel when you reached the end. However this is very subtle. Especially when you’re unloading the first time. If you want to make sure if your film roll did rewind fully into its canister then keep turning until you don’t feel any resistance anymore. Timestamps 00:00 How to rotate and press down the shutter release button? 00:14 How to press down the shaft? 00:25 How to turn the rewind knob? 01:17 How does it sound when film roll reached the end? 01:48 How to open backdoor of camera?
