Duke 3D - Serious Sam "The Build Engine Encounter" TC (WIP - WASTER BOSS FIGHT)
This project is purely amateur. Development and modding is not my job. So, I don't plan to make something perfect. I'm doing this project on my spare time, and for my enjoyment. In this one, you have to fight against the Waster. If you managed to do so, at the end of the battle, Waster corpse will explode. Then, his evil magical power (summoning the Demon Nharre) will be locked in the scepter that the player can use throughout the solo campaign. The sountrack is my own musical production with Magix Music Maker Premium. I recorded guitar tracks by using a Fender Stratocaster American Deluxe (for clean and melodic overdriven riffs) and a B.C. Rich Warlock Widow Tribe (for fat rythmic riffs), connected to a Focusrite soundcard. I used Vandal S.E. VST as an Amp simulator. Drums was made with Rockdrum VSTi and Midi Bass was produced with VITA Instrument and I added some overdrive by using Vanal S.E. too as a Amp simulator. The Nharre's Nightmare weapon pick up by player after defeating the Waster is taken from John Romero's Daikatana. I always love that game, almost as much as Serious Sam, DN3D and Doom, if not as much as these games. Every tiles of this weapon is made with screenshots taken in Daikatana game. Then, I use Adobe Photoshop to rework all screenshots and made these pictures rendering well by converting to the DN3D color palette. The Demon summoned by the Waster or by Nharre's Nightmare weapon is a modification of a Hexen Demon.
