Инсталляция несет информативную функцию – по сути, это красивая презентация города. Инсталляция «Современная Казань в виртуальной реальности» занимает немного места, всего лишь пару квадратных метров. На огороженной площадке установлена элегантная, антивандальная металлическая конструкция, похожая на перископ подводной лодки. В перископ вмонтированы очки виртуальной реальности Oculus Rift и две ручки управления с кнопкой. This installation mainly carries the informative function. In fact, it is a beautiful presentation of the city. That’s why the city was not recreated in details, but only the main attractions of it. So through an Oculus Rift HMD you can see such things as main roads, parks and the beautiful Volga river. Undoubtedly the main advantage of the installation is that it takes up very little space, only a few square meters. Metal construction, similar to the periscope of a submarine is installed in a fenced area. A virtual reality headset Oculus Rift and two handles with a button are mounted to the periscope. Just have a look in the headset and you’ll see virtual reality Kazan and some clues to help operate the periscope.
