DARPA EXACTO GUIDED bullet : TOP 5 FACTS BULLET INTRODUCTION: The "smart bullets" — have homing capabilities i.e they can change course mid air to meet the target. The system has been developed by DARPA's Extreme Accuracy Tasked Ordnance programme, known as EXACTO. GOAL: The program sought to improve sniper effectiveness and enhance troop safety by allowing greater shooter standoff range and reduction in target engagement timelines.
