Schmidt’s is teaming up with actor Lachlan Watson and Trans Justice Funding Project to promote the critical role that self-care, community, and wellness play in the trans and non-binary community. We’re raising awareness and taking action to support and care for individuals and communities that don’t have access to basic needs and feel isolated due to a lack of advocacy. Throughout Lachlan’s own journey, they have experienced this isolation first-hand and felt the need for community support. They quickly learned that without this aid, self-care and a positive headspace are impossible to achieve. At Schmidt’s, we understand the need for support within a community and that small actions of self-care can have a big impact on your mental health and wellness. By partnering with Trans Justice Funding Project, together, we can help support those fighting to be their most authentic selves but live in communities where they feel tremendous amounts of isolation.
