Today, March 8, marks International Women’s Day. While this Holiday is celebrated across many countries, in Russia it carries a particularly special meaning and scale. It is more than just a date in the calendar — it is an official National Holiday, a day when the entire country pauses to express gratitude to women. Cities come alive with concerts, streets fill with flowers, and men offer their congratulations to the women in their lives — their wives, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, friends, and colleagues. In schools and kindergartens, children prepare heartfelt celebrations, dedicating poems and songs to their mothers. In our video, we captured one of these touching moments — take a look and feel the warmth and sincerity of the occasion! 🫶 This day is a time to express appreciation for the love, care, and warmth that women bring into our lives. Observing the families of our resettlers, we are reminded again and again of the remarkable strength and resilience of women — especially when it comes to creating a home. Even from the very beginning, in a new country and among unfamiliar streets and traditions, women so often become the warm center, around which family life takes shape and flourishes.
