The Su-25 (Су-25) is a Russian attack aircraft developed in the 70's as a competitor for the Il-102. The Su-25 still serves in the Russian, Ukrainian, Iraq, Georgia, Macedonia and etc. It has been utilized in various wars, ever since the Afghan war in the 70's. It has served as the main attack aircraft of the Russian airforce in several wars inlcuding: The Afghan War, Chechen Wars, Conflict in Syria, and now recently Ukraine. It's a very durable aircraft, it competes with the A-10 in durability. Being able to fly even after being hit by a MANPAD.
